Inconveniently Alive is my first musical statement against the horrors of abortion. It is not an easy album to listen to, and was difficult to write.
Many songs still bring me to tears when I sing them. I can't believe that our country, supposedly the beacon of human rights in the world,
systematically kills 1/3 of our children every year in the guise of "Choice". I believe if you listen to this album, you will never think the same
about abortion. "The World" is a statement against the blatant hypocrisy of our schizophrenic society. And I Weep Now is a reflection on my
experiences picketing at an abortion clinic. Inconveniently Alive was greatly influenced by a tape I heard from the great Christian thinker, Franky
Schaeffer.
