The Issues of Life
Next to a right relationship with God, the issue most dear to Paul is
the plight of the pre-born children. Paul has composed an album called
"Inconveniently Alive", from which all proceeds are dedicated to
the Crisis Pregnancy Aid Center of Taylor, MI. He has performed and
spoke for many benefits and rallies, and is willing to do these as an
offering to the Lord, free of charge.
"To me, those beloved
workers for Life are one of the closest examples to
what I believe Jesus would have us be. I believe
that questioning the statement of having a
"right to life" in this country, is one of
the biggest assaults Satan has thrown upon us in
this generation. Devalue life and you can devalue
anything. And when you legislate more protection for
things such as trees and turtle eggs, etc., than for
human beings - made in the very image and likeness
of God - we have speak out. God has set standards
that are quickly deteriorating. We need to be bold
and speak the truth in a world that rationalizes the
destruction of human babies, in order to further
their own selfish desires and make money off of
innocent victims.
Also, the message of
forgiveness and restoration needs to be given to the
victims of this tragedy. The mothers, the fathers,
and the children."
"Inconveniently Alive" is my first musical statement against the
horrors of abortion. It is not an easy album to listen to, and was
difficult to write. Many songs still bring me to tears when I sing them. I
can't believe that our country, supposedly the beacon of human rights in
the world, systematically kills 1/3 of our children every year in the
guise of "Choice". I believe if you listen to this album, you
will never think the same about abortion. "The World" is
a statement against the blatant hypocrisy of our schizophrenic society.
"And I Weep Now" is a reflection on my experiences picketing at an
abortion clinic. "Inconveniently Alive" was greatly influenced by a
tape I heard from the great Christian thinker, Franky Schaeffer."
