Songs For Healing
Songs For Healing is a mixture of new and old music that has brought me spiritual healing. I wrote this hoping that people who listen would be moved toward our wonderful God and that they would be relieved of their hurts through the healing power of music devoted to drawing near to Jesus. "Soothe Me", "Blessed Way" and "My Testimony" are all brand new, while "Yes I Will" and "Renew My Mind" are from back when I was a new believer (about 30 years ago). "Come to Me", "No Condemnation", "The Adoption" and "Create in Me" are all taken directly from Scriptures that have been my friends and heart cries for many years. Finally, "Holy, Holy, Holy" and "All The Way My Savior Leads Me" are old Hymns that bring out the awe and comfort of our Creator.

Rest Beyond The River
Rest Beyond The River is my second attempt to arrange hymns that have inspired me and given me great rest. The title was my wife's idea, taking it from the song by Fanny Crosby called Near the Cross. Also, I've added more vocals, guitars and recorders to this one as compared to my "Hymns and Spiritual Songs". Also included is "Wounded Bird", a song I wrote dedicated to our dear friend Rhonda Hanson, who came up from Tennessee and blessed us Yankees with her brilliant, heartfelt songs and wonderful fellowship. And finally I want to mention the "Song To my Little Ones" (who are not so little anymore, but every bit as dear).

Hymns And Spiritual Songs
Hymns And Spiritual Songs is Paul's latest album, and features classic Christian hymns and songs. "I would like to thank my Lord Jesus Christ for giving me this new love for the old hymns. I hope you will be as blessed by hearing them as I have been by sharing them. This album is dedicated to my friend, Art Christensen who, through his love and enthusiasm, introduced me to these hymns in a new way. Thanks, Art. I will be forever grateful."

Take Me Home
Take Me Home, being the most versatile, contains many styles of music from jazz, blues to soft praise and contemporary songs. Includes music from the rock ballad Why Don't You Turn Away, the bluesy Romans 2, the gospel Touched By the Hand of God, the folk-style of Take Me Home, and the smooth, jazz of Psalm 86. It is laced with Scripture as is all my music, with word for word songs from Psalm 86 and Romans 2, and closes with a song to my wife, who is looking forward with me, to go to the "place prepared for us" in heaven, to be with Jesus. Come quickly, Lord!

In The Son
In the Son was my first solo endeavor, created in 1986. It was a compilation of songs that were the most meaningful to me at that time. Bow Down Thine Ear is the first song I had ever written, adapted from Psalm 31.Turn To The Lion was influenced by the Narnian Chronicles by C.S. Lewis. I still open many of my concerts with In The Son, which has become my song of gratitude for my salvation in Christ. Finally, What Does It Profit is a plea to the unbeliever to make his choice between heaven and hell.

Trust in the Lord
Trust in the Lord is a compilation of songs I have written throughout the years of my walk with the Lord, from You Have Shown me the Way, one of the first I had written in about 1974, to A Glimpse of Heaven, written last year, 2000. You can hear the story of my life through the music in this album. The music is all guitar, flute, recorders, and vocals issuing soft, thankful cries to our beloved Savior, in whom I trust, and in spite of all my disobedience, He has never let me down. Thank You, Lord Jesus.

Hallel
Hallel* is the Hebrew word for "Praise".
This is a common title
for Psalms 113-118. A friend asked me to put these Psalms to music for a
Seder Meal he was presenting for his church. It is simple music, mostly
with a Jewish flavor, a blend of guitars, recorders and vocals. I hope I
conveyed the emotion displayed in these wonderful Psalms. For the cd I
also added Psalm 121 and my first try at DavidŐs 10 String Harp,
called the Kinnor, which I purchased from Jubilee Harps (see link).
I am now trying to put a full cd together with just the Kinnor. Pray for
me!
* Hallel is currently being remastered, but our current
stock is still available.

I John In Song
I John In Song is the first of my attempts to put full books of the bible to music. This was recorded in the 1980's with my former group Shekinah. It consists of 35 songs, word for word from King James English. It is the most painless way to memorize scripture I know, and believe me, I've memorized a lot of scripture!

Inconveniently Alive
Inconveniently Alive is my first musical statement against the horrors of abortion. It is not an easy album to listen to, and was difficult to write. Many songs still bring me to tears when I sing them. I can't believe that our country, supposedly the beacon of human rights in the world, systematically kills 1/3 of our children every year in the guise of "Choice". I believe if you listen to this album, you will never think the same about abortion. "The World" is a statement against the blatant hypocrisy of our schizophrenic society. And I Weep Now is a reflection on my experiences picketing at an abortion clinic. Inconveniently Alive was greatly influenced by a tape I heard from the great Christian thinker, Franky Schaeffer.
